Forgot or lose your TSP account password? Visit the My Account section of TSP.gov or call the ThriftLine at 1-877-968-3778. If you lose your PIN, you can request a new one on the ThriftLine.

What is the penalty for pulling out of TSP?

The taxable portion of your withdrawal is subject to federal income tax at your ordinary rate. Also, you may have to pay state income tax. An additional IRS early withdrawal penalty of 10% may apply if you’re under the age of 59½.
