How do I know if I have Medicare Part A coverage?

If you’re not sure if you have Part A or Part B, look on your red, white, and blue Medicare card. If you have Part A, “Hospital (Part A)” is printed on the lower left corner of your card. If you have Part B, “Medical (Part B)” is printed on the lower left corner of your card.

How do I check my Medicare Part B claims?

  1. All your Part A and Part B-covered services or supplies billed to Medicare during a 3-month period.

Can you be denied Medicare Part A?

Generally, if you’re eligible for Original Medicare (Part A and Part B), you can’t be denied enrollment into a Medicare Advantage plan. Your Medicare Advantage plan isn’t allowed to make statements such as “It is our policy to deny coverage for this service” without providing justification.
