How do I check my eFiling status?

On the homepage of the income tax department’s e-filing website, under the ‘Quick Links’ option, you’ll find the option to check the ITR Status. Once you click the ITR Status option, you’ll be redirected to a new page where you need to fill out your PAN number, ITR acknowledgement number and the captcha code.

How long does SARS have to review supporting documents?

SARS will provide the taxpayer at least 21 business days to respond to the Audit Findings Letter. Conclude an audit within 90 business days from the date all required relevant material is received.

What does e filing mean in High Court?

District Courts: 2.6. means and includes the courts established and functioning under the control and supervision of High Court. Electronic Filing (e-filing): 2.7. means and includes e-filing via internet (at the High Court web portal) as well as through intranet at the Designated Centres, unless the context requires otherwise.

Do you have to file your tax return electronically?

(a) If the return form has been furnished electronically under the Digital Signatures, then form no. 35 will also have to be filed electronically under Digital Signatures. (b) If the return has been furnished electronically without Digital Signatures, then form no. 35 will have to filed electronically through the electronic verification code.

Do you have to file your appeal electronically?

Electronic filing of appeal is mandatory for the persons who are required to file the return of income electronically. The other persons have an option to voluntarily file the appeal electronically or in the paper form.

Do you have to file Form No.35 electronically?

(c) Where the e filing of form no. 35 is not mandatory, but is being e filed optionally, then it can be filed either under Digital Signatures or through Electronic Verification Code (as per convenience).
