Can Google Assistant make phone calls for you?

You can ask the Google Assistant to make phone calls to your friends, family, and businesses on your speaker, Smart Display, or Smart Clock. You can’t receive incoming phone calls.

How do I setup my calling?

Add a number to place & receive calls & texts

  1. Open the Voice app .
  2. In the top left, tap Menu. Settings.
  3. Under “Account,” tap Devices and numbers.
  4. Tap New linked number.
  5. Enter the phone number to link.
  6. Google Voice sends you a verification code. To verify a mobile number: Tap Send code.
  7. Enter the code. tap Verify.

Why does Google Assistant keep calling me?

Google Assistant will only call you when a customer wants to book an appointment or when it needs to check your business hours or the status of in-demand inventory.

Is the Google Assistant always listening?

On iOS, Google Assistant is a separate app. It can’t listen for the “Hey Google” keyword unless you have the app open, so you don’t have to worry about it always listening.

When using +44 do I drop the 0?

In this format you only need to add your own international access code. The 44 signifies the UK international code and the leading ‘0’ has already been dropped. London phone numbers all have an 0203, 0207 or a 0208 prefix (020 is the actual London code). Since 2005 the 0203 prefix has also been used.
