Are parents required to support adult children?

The Alberta Family Law Act defines a child as under 18 years of age, or who is between 18 and 22 and is unable to withdraw from their parents charge because they are a full-time student. A parent does not have an indefinite obligation to provide child support to a child who is attending university.
